Nazr Ullah Khan (1908)
“Would not deny Christ”
Nazr Ullah Khan of Chaman, Pakistan, on the border of Afghanistan, became a Christian in 1899 and lived his faith boldly, witnessing for Christ wherever opportunity availed itself. He was killed by Afghans on 20 August 1908.
A plaque in Urdu was placed over the fireplace of the church in Chaman reading: “In memory of Nazr Ullah Khan who became a Christian on 11 June 1899. He would not deny Christ, and was killed by Afghans near Chaman on 20 August 1908. He who loses his life for my sake and the Gospel’s, the same shall find it.”
