Rosemary Sookhdeo
Rosemary Sookhdeo was born in New Zealand. It was there she qualified and worked as a Pharmacist for the President of the Pharmacy Board for several years. At the same time she attended Victoria University and studied accountancy and law. After coming to Britain she became Deputy-Chief Pharmacist at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Feeling calling by God she then enrolled as a full-time student at London Bible College where she met her husband Patrick. Many years later she returned to academia, pursuing post-graduate theological studies at Oxford University.
After marrying Patrick they took over a very large redundant Anglican Church complex in the East End of London and developed a church planting, training and book ministry. Barnabas Fund was also started during this time. After 23 years in the East London they moved to Wiltshire to concentrate and develop the ministry of Barnabas Fund.
Rosemary is the author of four books.
